The
Department of Geography has research facilities with excellent equipment,
capable of performance. The Geography laboratories of the faculty are furnished
and equipped with multimedia modern accessories for computing, printing and
copying (PCs, printers, scanners, copiers, projectors, audio-video systems
complex, plotters), equipment, tools, maps of all classes, specialized
software, and rich collections of petrography, mineral, rocks and fossils
material. To these one should add counters and work tables of specific
laboratory and field research disciplines.
